4.It is the public policy of this State to promote, encourage, facilitate, and support the development, utilization, and improvement of health information technology and electronic health records, including the effectuation of a secure, integrated and interoperative Statewide health care information infrastructure in accordance with a Statewide health information technology plan that is developed and implemented pursuant to this act. L.2007, c.330, s.4.
