§ 26:1A-12 — Local by-laws or ordinances to be filed with commissioner; modification or annulment

New Jersey·Title 26 HEALTH AND VITAL STATISTICS
Every local board of health shall file with the commissioner a certified copy of every by-law or ordinance of such board immediately upon passage of the same. The Public Health Council may modify or annul any order, regulation, by-law or ordinance of any local board of health if, after giving reasonable notice and affording an opportunity to be heard to the members of such local board, the council shall determine that such order, regulation, by-law or ordinance concerns a matter which affects the public health beyond the territory over which such local board has jurisdiction.
