26:8-43. Transmission of marriage and civil union certificates and licenses to State registrar. Each local registrar and the clerk of the county board of health shall, on or before the tenth of each calendar month, or sooner if requested by the department, transmit by mail, express or messenger to the State registrar in an envelope or package marked "vital statistics" all the certificates of marriages and civil unions, marriage and civil union licenses and consents to the marriage or civil union of minors received by them.
