Text

The term "misbranded" as used in this subtitle shall apply to all drugs, articles of food, cosmetics and devices and to articles which enter into the composition of foods, drugs, cosmetics or devices, the package or label of which shall bear any statement or design regarding such article or the ingredients or substances contained therein, which shall be false or misleading in any particular, and to any food or drug product, or cosmetic, or device which is falsely branded as to the State, territory or country in which it is manufactured or produced. Amended by L.1939, c. 320, p. 780, s. 25, eff. Jan. 1, 1940.
