No charge shall be made by the Clerk of the Supreme Court or the Clerk of the Superior Court for the filing of any paper or the rendering of any service for which a fee is provided by this chapter when the party filing the paper or requesting the service is a State officer paid from State funds, or a State department, board, body or commission. L.1953, c. 22, p. 397, s. 11.
