2.There is established a Minority Undergraduate Fellowship Program within the Commission on Higher Education. The purpose of the program is to identify academically talented minority undergraduate students who may be interested in pursuing an academic career in an eligible discipline at a public or independent institution of higher education within the State, and to provide such students with the institutional and faculty support necessary to assist them in reaching that goal. The commission may enter into an agreement with another agency or entity to administer or provide services for this program. L.1991,c.485,s.2; amended 1994, c.48, s.290; 1999, c.46, s.64.
