§ 18A:22-21 — Additional appropriations; purposes; estimation
New Jersey·Title 18A EDUCATION
When a board of education of a type I district shall determine by resolution that it is necessary to raise in any school year funds additional to those set forth in its annual budget for such year for:
(1)current expenses or repair or furnishing of buildings made necessary because the amount requisite therefor was underestimated in the budget; or (2) repair or utilization of property destroyed or made unusable by accident or other unforeseen cause; or (3) meeting emergencies arising since the making of such budget; the board shall prepare and deliver to each member of the board of school estimate a statement of the amount of money determined to be necessary therefor.
