Text
The sheriff of each county shall work in conjunction with local law enforcement officials and local boards of education to provide a fingerprint program for the protection of its students. The sheriff shall visit each public school and shall, at the request of a parent or guardian or temporary caretaker, provide each student in any grades from kindergarten through nine with the opportunity to have the student's fingerprints taken as provided in this act. L. 1985, c. 100, s. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
