17.The Commissioner of Banking and Insurance shall report to the Legislature, as provided pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c.164 (C.52:14-19.1), within one year of the effective date of this act or within one year of the operational date of the compact for the long-term care insurance products, whichever is later, the commissioner's non-binding recommendation as to whether the State should participate in the compact with respect to all uniform standards involving long-term care insurance products under the compact. L.2010, c.120, s.17.
