§ 17:23A-17 — Cease and desist orders and reports
New Jersey·Title 17 CORPORATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS FOR FINANCE AND INSURANCE
Cease and desist orders and reports.
a.If, after a hearing pursuant to section 15, the commissioner determines that the insurance institution, agent or insurance-support organization charged has engaged in conduct or practices in violation of this act, the commissioner shall reduce his findings to writing and shall issue and cause to be served upon the insurance institution, agent or insurance-support organization a copy of the findings and an order requiring the insurance institution, agent or insurance-support organization to cease and desist from the conduct or practices constituting a violation of this act.
