a.A vendor shall not sell, or offer to sell, coverage under a policy of portable electronics insurance unless licensed as a limited lines insurance producer pursuant to the provisions of the "New Jersey Insurance Producer Licensing Act of 2001," P.L.2001, c.210 (C.17:22A-26 et seq.) and this act. To hold a limited lines insurance producer license pursuant to this section, a vendor shall meet all the requirements to be a business entity producer pursuant to P.L.2001, c.210 (C.17:22A-26 et seq.), unless a provision of this act conflicts with a provision of P.L.2001, c.210 (C.17:22A-26 et seq.) in which case the provision of this act shall control.
