3.As used in this act: "Business entity" means a corporation, association, partnership, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, or other legal entity. "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance. "Department" means the Department of Banking and Insurance. "Home state" means the District of Columbia and any state or territory of the United States in which an insurance producer maintains his principal place of residence or principal place of business and is licensed to act as an insurance producer. "Insurance" means any of the lines of insurance in subtitle 3 of Title 17 of the Revised Statutes or subtitle 3 of Title 17B of the New Jersey Statutes and includes contracts or policies of life insurance, health insurance, annuities, indemnity, property and c
