§ 17:15A-38 — Licensee to engage services of public accountant

9. a. Each applicant shall engage and each licensee shall maintain the services of a public accountant, which accountant shall assist the licensee to maintain the records of the check cashing business in an orderly and accurate manner. b. The contract between the licensee and the public accountant shall include a statement by the accountant consenting to allow the department to examine all records of the licensee at the accountant's place of business during normal business hours. c. If a licensee changes the public accountant used to assist in the maintenance of the licensee's records of the check cashing business, the licensee shall notify the department within 15 days of the date a change is made and provide the department with the information required pursuant to subsection d. of section 10 of this act.
