Text

Any religious society or congregation may elect, in the same manner and at the same time as trustees are elected, a president, a vice-president, a secretary, and a treasurer, and such other officers as the by-laws may require to be elected by the congregation. No officer or trustee shall serve in the dual capacity of officer and trustee but the officers elected shall be members of the board of trustees during the term of their respective offices. The officers so elected shall hold office until the next annual meeting of the congregation and until their successors are elected. L.1955, c. 124, p. 606, s. 3, eff. July 8, 1955.
