New Hampshire Statutes
§ 498:13 — Fees of Masters, Etc
In special cases the court may, within the appropriation limits established by the legislature, allow a reasonable compensation to masters for their services and expenses, including stenographer's fees in cases where the employment of a stenographer is authorized by the court, which shall be paid by the state.
