Text

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, before any private or municipal water company may withdraw water in excess of 100,000 gallons per day from a well located in one municipality for use in a different municipality, such water company shall provide written notice to the governing body of the municipality in which the well is located. This section shall apply only to wells established after the effective date of this section.
