§ 40:3 — Pro Tem
New Hampshire·Title III TOWNS, CITIES, VILLAGE DISTRICTS, AND UNINCORPORATED PLACES·Ch. 40 GOVERNMENT OF TOWN MEETING·Subdivision Moderator
If the moderator is absent from any meeting or is unable to perform the duties of the office of moderator, a moderator pro tempore shall be appointed by the board of supervisors of the checklist of the town or ward, or by the selectmen of a town or ward where there is no board of supervisors.
