Text
The governor shall annually proclaim June 20 as Destroyer Escort Day and shall urge cities, towns, and communities throughout the state to observe this day in commemoration of the bravery and valor of those individuals who lost their lives while serving aboard these gallant vessels during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict.
