Text
The governor shall annually issue a proclamation calling for the proper observance of August 31 as Overdose Awareness Day, a day to honor and remember those who have died or suffered a permanent injury as a result of an overdose, to raise awareness of the epidemic, and to reduce the stigma associated with addiction, overdoses, and overdose fatalities.
