Text

I.The governor shall annually issue a proclamation calling for the proper observance of the last Sunday in September, which shall be known as Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day, recognizing and honoring all mothers and families who have lost sons or daughters while on duty in the United States armed forces. The governor shall urge the citizens of the state, and its cities, towns, and municipalities, to observe this day with appropriate events.
II.The governor shall order the Honor and Remember Flag to be displayed daily at the New Hampshire state veterans cemetery in Boscawen exclusively. The flag shall be flown in the most junior order of precedence. The flag shall be provided at no cost to the state of New Hampshire.
