Text

If the selectmen neglect to issue a warrant for any town meeting or town election or neglect to cause copies of such warrant, if not directed to a constable, to be duly posted, or notice of such meeting or election to be given agreeably to any vote of the town, they shall for each offense be guilty of a violation and any fines collected shall be remitted to the town.
