Text

I. The public utilities commission may establish joint services between localities which cannot be reached either by the lines of a single utility or by the use of other lines with suitable connections. II. The public utilities commission, after a hearing upon complaint or on its own initiative, may establish joint services for 2 or more telephone utilities when the lines or wires form a continuous line of communication or could form a continuous line by:

(a)Construction and maintenance of suitable connections;
(b)Joint use of equipment; or
(c)Transfer of messages at common points. III. The public utilities commission may determine the rates, fares and charges to be used by utilities engaged in joint services and may adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, relative to rates, fares, charges
