Text

Notwithstanding the provisions of RSA 378:14, telephone companies authorized by the commission to do business in any town shall, at the customer's request, adjust the charges for tolls to such customer so that no toll charges shall be imposed for any call from any point within the geographical boundaries of said town placed through such company to the emergency number of an agency of local government located within such town, provided, however, that such request for adjustment is made at the company's business office prior to paying such charges.
