§ 292:12 — Holding Property
New Hampshire·Title XXVII CORPORATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS, AND PROPRIETORS OF COMMON LANDS·Ch. 292 VOLUNTARY CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS·Subdivision Fraternal Organizations
Unincorporated societies or lodges of Elks, Knights of Columbus, Knights of Pythias, Masons, Moose and Odd Fellows, or other similar fraternal organizations shall be corporations so far as may be necessary to take, hold, manage and use any gift or grant made to them as such and any gifts or grants heretofore made to any such societies or lodges are hereby fully ratified and confirmed to them in their aforesaid corporate capacity, and said societies, lodges, and organizations may sue and be sued in regard to such property in said corporate capacity.
