§ 231:2 — Class IV Compact Section Highways
New Hampshire·Title XX TRANSPORTATION·Ch. 231 CITIES, TOWNS AND VILLAGE DISTRICT HIGHWAYS·Subdivision Laying Out Highways
All class IV highways shall be wholly constructed, reconstructed and maintained by the city or town in which they are located, and no state funds shall be expended thereon except as may be authorized by RSA 235.
