§ 21-I:52-a — Employee Assistance Program; Confidential Communications
New Hampshire·Title I THE STATE AND ITS GOVERNMENT·Ch. 21-I DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES·Subdivision Classified Employees
The confidential relations and confidential communications between an employee of the state of New Hampshire and a representative or representatives of an employee assistance program shall be placed on the same basis as those provided by law between attorney and client. Except as otherwise provided by law, no representative of an employee assistance program shall be required to disclose either the nature of the program's relationship with the state employee or any privileged and confidential communications, either oral or written, made between the state employee and the representative or representatives of the program in the context of that relationship.
