Text

I. There is hereby established the department of administrative services, an agency of the state, under the executive direction of a commissioner of administrative services. The commissioner of administrative services shall serve as the chief fiscal planning and control officer of the state of New Hampshire. II. The department of administrative services, through its officials, shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the following administrative and financial functions, upon which the effective and efficient management of all state programs and operations relies:

(a)Budgeting.
(b)Automated accounting and financial and human resources management systems.
(c)Business process auditing.
(d)Accounting.
(e)Financial reporting.
(f)Data processing.
(g)Graphic services.
