Text
A resident of the state may transport within the state, during the open season and for 10 days thereafter, a deer legally taken by the resident, when accompanied by such resident, and to which the deer tag has been attached as provided in RSA 208:16 and for which the resident has received a registration confirmation number. If the deer or carcass is placed in the custody of a licensed common carrier it shall, in addition to the attached deer tag and the registration confirmation number, have attached a tag, plainly marked, with the name of the consignor, the name of the consignee, the point of shipment, and the destination.
