Text
Pursuant to the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, section 115(a)(1)-
(2)of Public Law 104-19, all individuals domiciled in this state shall be exempt from the application of section 115(d)(1)(A) of Public Law 104-19 which makes any individual ineligible for certain state and federal assistance if that individual has been convicted under federal or state law of any offense which is classified as a felony by the law of the jurisdiction and which has as an element the possession, use, or distribution of a controlled substance as defined in section 102(6) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802(6)).
