Text

As used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

I."Legal order of support" means any judgment or order including an order in a final decree of divorce for the support of dependent children issued by any court of the state of New Hampshire or another state, or any body authorized by law to issue and modify support orders. I-a. "Account" means a demand deposit account, checking or negotiable withdrawal order account, savings account, time deposit account, money market mutual fund account, or brokerage account.
II."Dependent child" means any natural or adoptive child who is not self-supporting, married, or a member of the armed services, or who has not reached the age of 18 years.
III."Department" means the New
