The provisions of the most recent version of the American Standard Safety Code for Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators and Moving Walks, Material Lifts and Dumbwaiters With Automatic Transfer Devices, Wheelchair Lifts and Stairchair Lifts are the minimum requirements for all elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, and accessibility lifts installed after January 1, 1998.
