Text
Membership in the New Hampshire retirement system shall be optional for the New Hampshire officers and employees of said conference who are in its service on the date when participation becomes effective and any such officer or employee who elects to join said system shall be entitled to a prior service certificate covering such periods of previous service rendered to such conference or the state for which the conference is willing to make accrued liability contributions. Membership shall be compulsory for all New Hampshire employees entering the service of the conference after the date participation becomes effective.
