Text
1.This chapter may not be construed to prevent an individual from doing work within the
standards and ethics of that individual's profession if that individual does not represent
to the public, by title or by use of the initials L.A.C., L.C.A.C., or M.A.C., that the
individual is engaging in addiction counseling.
2.This chapter may not be construed to prevent addiction counseling trainees or interns
in board-approved programs from engaging in addiction counseling related to training.
