Application for registration as a professional soil classifier and for certification as a soil
classifier-in-training must be on a form prescribed and furnished by the board, must contain
statements made under oath showing the applicant's education, a detailed summary of the
applicant's experience, and references as required by this chapter and must be accompanied by
an application fee established by the board of not less than fifty nor more than two hundred
dollars. If the national test is administered, the amount may not exceed five hundred dollars.
