Text
1.Applicants may obtain a license by successfully passing a qualifying examination, if
the applicant:
a.Is at least eighteen years of age.
b.Is of good moral character.
c.Has an education equivalent to a four-year course in an accredited high school.
d.Is free of contagious or infectious disease.
2.The applicant for license by examination shall appear at a time, place, and before such
persons as the board designates, to be examined by means of written and practical
tests to demonstrate that the applicant is qualified to practice the fitting and sale of
hearing instruments. The examination administered as directed by the board
constituting standards for licensing may not be conducted in such a manner that
