Written examinations must be held at such times and places as the board shall determine.
Examinations required on fundamental engineering or land surveying subjects may be taken at
any time prescribed by the board. The professional examinations may be taken as soon as a
candidate desires, without having to complete a specific amount of experience. The board shall
establish the minimum passing grade on any examination. A candidate failing one examination
may apply for re-examination, which may be granted upon payment of a fee established by the
board.
