Text
Every licensed pharmacist in the state shall file, or cause to be filed, any prescription, or a
copy thereof, which has been compounded or dispensed in the pharmacist's pharmacy or
drugstore. The prescription or a copy of the prescription must be preserved for at least five
years after it has been filled. The pharmacist may furnish a copy of any prescription to the party
presenting it on the request of such party only.
