1.At the first regular meeting of the board after the appointment and qualification of a new member for a full term, the board shall elect a president, a secretary, and a treasurer. The president must be chosen from the membership of the board, but any suitable person, whether a member of the board or not, may be chosen for the other offices. In case of the death, removal, resignation, absence, or refusal or inability to act of the president of the board, the senior member present shall act as president. In case of the death, removal, resignation, absence, or refusal or inability to act of the secretary or treasurer, the board may choose another person to act temporarily or for the remainder of the year.
