Text
1.A person may not practice optometry in this state unless the person first obtains a
license and complies with the requirements of this chapter.
2.Notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is unlawful for any person, or any entity
other than a licensed optometrist or a licensed physician to prescribe to the public
contact lenses, or any medical appliance having direct contact with the cornea of the
eye.
