§ 43-11-27 — Instructor's license - Student instructor's license - Registration - Qualifications

North Dakota·Title 43 Occupations and Professions·Ch. 43-11 Cosmetologists

Qualifications.

1.No individual may be licensed as an instructor of cosmetology unless the individual passes a theory and a practical examination required by the board after paying the examination fee set forth in section 43-11-28. An applicant shall:
a.Possess a current North Dakota license as a cosmetologist, esthetician, advanced esthetician, or manicurist; and
b.Complete the required hours of instructor training in a school of cosmetology or course approved by the board.
2.An instructor or student instructor may not practice cosmetology on a patron at a school other than as part of practical work pertaining directly to the teaching of students.
3.Each school of enrollment shall submit to the board a student instructor registration form for each student instructor. The registration
