Text
1.The board may establish internships, apprenticeship programs, and rules related to
the licensure and discipline of interns and apprentices practicing in programs
established under this section. Apprenticeship programs allow for direct entry of
individuals into an approved training program under this chapter.
2.An apprenticeship establishment participating in the apprenticeship program must:
a.Be an approved apprenticeship program conducted in an approved establishment
by the state office of apprenticeship; and
b.Provide the board with the names of all individuals acting as apprentice trainers.
3.To act as an apprentice trainer, an individual must be approved by the board. To be
approved, the trainer must:
a.Hold a current license in the practice of which the individual is providing
