1.
a.Within six months from July 1, 2025, the owner of a conveyance shall register the
conveyance with the board.
b.The owner of a new elevator or other conveyance must register the conveyance
with the board within thirty days after the conveyance has been inspected and
approved.
c.When registering a conveyance, the owner shall provide to the board the type of
the conveyance, the rated load, the number of landings and speed of the
conveyance, the name of the manufacturer of the conveyance, the location of the
conveyance, the purpose for which the conveyance is used, and any additional
information the board may require.
d.When a conveyance subject to this chapter is decommissioned or otherwise
taken out of service, the owner responsible for the equipment shall notify the
