Text
1.An electrician's license may be issued for a term of only one year, but may be renewed
without examination upon the payment of the proper fee. If the licensee fails to renew
the license for a period of three consecutive years or more, the licensee is required to
appear for re-examination. The state electrical board may deny, suspend, revoke, or
refuse to renew any license issued or applied for under this chapter for any of the
following reasons:
a.Failure or refusal to maintain or adhere to the minimum standards set forth in the
electrical code referred to in section 43-09-21.
b.Any cause for which the issuance of the license could have been refused had that
information then existed and been known to the board.
c.Commitment of any act of gross negligence, incompetency, or misconduct
