The board shall adopt a seal and may adopt reasonable rules to carry out this chapter. The
board may submit a biennial report to the governor and the secretary of state in accordance with
section 54-06-04. The board shall appoint qualified inspectors. Upon receipt of notice of
completion of any electrical wiring or power limited system installation involving a value of five
hundred dollars or more, the inspectors shall inspect the electrical or power limited system
installation and approve or condemn that installation. The inspector shall make a report of the
inspection on forms prescribed by the board.
