Text
An applicant for a license to practice podiatric medicine must possess the following qualifications:
1.Be at least eighteen years of age;
2.Be of good moral character; and
3.Be a graduate of a podiatric medical school approved by the board based upon its
faculty, curriculum, facilities, accreditation by a recognized national accrediting
organization approved by the board, and other relevant factors.
All persons holding a license to practice podiatric medicine in this state on July 1, 1991,
continue to be eligible for a license to practice podiatric medicine under this chapter.
Upon renewal of any license, the board may require the applicant to show sufficient proof of
continuing medical education since the last application, which may include seminars or podiatry
meetings. The board may
