Text
1.The state board of animal health may authorize the provision of brand inspection
services at a livestock auction market, buying station, or packing plant located outside
this state.
2.In order to obtain brand inspection services under this section, an entity shall file a
petition with the state board of animal health.
3.Before making a determination on the petition, the state board of animal health shall
provide the North Dakota stockmen's association with an opportunity to comment.
4.The state board of animal health shall establish by rule the criteria to be considered in
determining whether to authorize the services.
