Text
All furs, skins, and specimens taken by hunters and trappers paid out of funds appropriated
to carry out section 4.1-01-05 must be disposed of in a manner the commissioner determines is
in the best interest of the state. If furs, skins, or specimens are sold, the net proceeds of the
sales, up to fifteen thousand dollars per biennium, must be used by the United States
department of agriculture wildlife services to fund program activities benefiting the state's
livestock producers.
