Text
1.The commissioner may not be required to pay any filing fee or other court costs or
disbursements.
2.The attorney general may appoint outside legal counsel to assist the commissioner in
the prosecution of the action and the cost of employing outside counsel must be paid
from the trust fund and the credit-sale contract indemnity fund as appropriate.
3.All other necessary expenses incurred by the commissioner in carrying out this
chapter, including adequate insurance to protect the commissioner, the
commissioner's employees, and others engaged in carrying out sections 4.1-59-21
through 4.1-59-31, must be reimbursed to the commissioner from the trust fund and
credit-sale contract indemnity funds as appropriate.
