Text
1.A person violating a provision of this chapter or a rule adopted pursuant to this chapter,
if punishment is not specifically provided for, is:
a.Guilty of an infraction; and
b.Subject to a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed five thousand dollars for
each violation.
2.The civil penalty may be adjudicated by the agriculture commissioner through an
administrative hearing or by a court in an appeal of an administrative hearing.
