Text
If requested in writing, the commissioner shall refund the license fee of a public warehouse,
or so much as in the commissioner's judgment is just and reasonable, if satisfactory proof is
furnished the warehouse has been transferred to some other person, and the new owner has
obtained a license for the same warehouse for the unexpired period for which the original
license was issued. If a warehouse is destroyed by fire or other cause, the license fee may be
prorated as the commissioner may determine.
